Replacement for Bookpool?

Anyone find a replacement for Bookpool yet? This was a great website for programming books but now appears to be gone with the wind. . .

From stackoverflow
  • Man, that sucks. Oh well, gotta go to Amazon now...

  • http://www.amazon.com May be a decent choice. Also, I've had good experiences with Powell's Books.

Scott : Bookpool had the best prices and usually had everything in stock. I was thinking amazon or barnes & noble would become my next favorite place. . .
  • http://www.bookdepository.co.uk/ not only programming books, but free delivery.

  • Amazon Marketplace (get some 2nd hand stuff) and Safari digital, really cheap, lovely and got iPhone / PDF support.

  • The Safari Books online subscription is the best thing going, so long as you don't mind reading on the screen. $42 a month for access to every single O'Reilly book in existence plus a ton of other series. I used to buy at least 1 book a month, on average, so it saves me a crapload of money. There's a $27 version that lets you choose 10 books per calendar month to view, which I found limiting, but there you have it.
